The Mountaineer Restaurant is 500 feet up the road, within easy walking distance. Their hours are 8 am to 9 pm Sun. through Thu., and until 10 pm on Fri. and Sat. They serve delicious American style food, and have a a full bar for those who like a drink with their meal.

Although opening your windows and pulling up your blanket makes for perfect sleeping weather, we do have extra blankets in the closet all year. Electric baseboard heat is also available for those who like a warmer room. If you like your room cooler, turn on your ceiling fan and let the wonderful mountain breezes to cool you off.
